Derwent Onyx Pencils are made from smooth, dark graphite that delivers dense, rich, jet-black tones, even darker than Derwent's Graphic 9B pencil. Because of itsnon-crumbly texture, the wide, 4 mm core is capable of sharpening and holding a fine point, making these pencils great for expressive sketches, as well as detailed technical and architectural drawings.

Darker shades can be built up by applying increased pressure. Apply less pressure for lighter shades and more detailed artwork. These pencils can also be smudged and blended with your finger or a tortillon.

Derwent Onyx Pencils are available in two tones, Medium and Dark.
