The Pilot Parallel Pen is the perfect tool for creating stunning italic calligraphy. Unlike other calligraphy nibs that have one or two slits in them, its unique two-plate design allows the ink to flow evenly along the entire width of the nib. That way, you can use both the flat edge for broad strokes and the corner for narrow lines.

The Parallel Pen consists of a nib, a feed inside of a grip, and a long barrel that houses the ink cartridge. The nib is made of two parallel metal plates pressed together, and the ink flows through the opening between the plates. The plastic barrel is lightweight, making it easy to use for long periods of time.

The Parallel Pen is available in six nib sizes: 1.5mm red, 2.4mm orange, 3.0mm pink, 3.8mm green, 4.5mm aqua and 6.0mm blue. The larger the size, the more dramatic the writing.
