Decorative Sponge Painting

Enhance your room projects using a sponge to create decorative faux finishes. For a watercolour look, use soft pastel colours. A marbled effect can be achieved by applying one or more darker colours over lighter a lighter base colour. Walls must be clean, dry and free of dust or grease. Sand glossy surfaces lightly with sand paper before sponge painting.

Before Starting

Rinse sponge thoroughly before using. Squeeze out excess water. NEVER allow paint to dry in sponge.

Clean Up

Rinse sponge under running water until water runs clear. Allow to air dry.
